Hi Jean, unfortunately recruits are not permitted to receive gifts while they are in bootcamp at Recruit Training Command. Our project selects a US Navy strike group (an aircraft carrier, destroyers, & cruisers) that will be deployed overseas during the holidays. We send goodie bags & Christmas stockings to the more than 6000 Sailors that deploy with the strike group. If this sounds like something you'd like to participate in, please let me know. We think they may go Sunday/Monday (overnight drill) 1/29-1/30, but not sure. One lady reported that date. Please let me know if you hear.
