Navy For Moms

I did a search and couldnt find anything on this one already here on this site. As we seem to have a very large member base, I felt we may be able to make a good coverage list. What a Sailor Rescue list is for, is for those sailors who must drive across the country from one duty station to the next and/or their families, that find themselves in need of assistance. That may mean they need a ride, a meal, a stop over to rest, accident on the way..what ever! I would be willing to keep a list of those willing to help in this matter. I am currently on 3 other lists, but hope we can combine them into one hugh list that covers the entire USA! NO PERSONAL INFORMATION WOULD BE PUT UP IN A PUBLIC FORUM! I would need your name, address phone numbers, and the area you can cover on a moments notice! It would be nice to have a couple of people who would be willing to help with contacts as I do work sometimes! Those who wish to help, please PM me with your information..Any input on this is greatly appreciated and should be posted publicly..
Remember..someday it may be YOUR sailor that needs help!
THANKS ALL!

At the top of the page you have a little envelope symbol...that is your private message center. I dont want anyone to put their personal info on here like phone numbers and such!
Or you all can just e-mail me at sweetmtn@frontiernet.net I already get about 150 e-mails a day!

I hope that everyone gets a chance to read this...I hope to have enough families across this USA to cover any route a young sailor may travel! It made me think when my own sailor is curently driving across this USA to get home for leave before reporting to his ship! The area he is driving has NO ONE on any rescue list. So he is currently in WY on I-80. there is no one on any list from west of IL. near I-80 until you reach ME IN CA! YIKES! So far he has made it from Goose Creek, SC to there!

Susan,

I would love to help out. I would also be willing to help organize lists, etc. I've been a "team mom" forever and this might give me an outlet!!

Let me know how to get in touch with you, or drop me an email at mrsmcgee@aol.com.
