Anyone with a child leaving for Great Lakes the week of May 5?

My son is leaving for GL from Atlanta on May 7. I have no idea what time, flight, etc., yet. I was wondering if there is anyone else out there with a child leaving around that same time. They may end up together at GL. I'd love to have a "buddy" to go thru basic training with...lol.

You'll find a group of moms here who can do anything. If we don't have the answers, we will find the answers. If you need a hug, you'll get 10. If they would put us in charge of the world, we'd have all the problems solved by bedtime!

There is a number you can call at Great Lakes (scroll back through this thread and you'll find it) to get his ship and division. Let us know when you find out so we can see whose kid is with whose kid. It looks like Pam's son and my son are together.

I haven't gotten The Box yet, but I'm expecting it any day.
