My son Donald, graduated 5/2, they just left, asked him to call when he got signed in, hope all is well with his baggage they had a delay by half hour and connecting on to pensicola, Anyone else has a son who left with his group?

My daughter left for A School in Pensacola on Tuesday May 5th. Her PIR was the 2nd. Her school doesn't start until the 19th. She seems to be doing OK She has called or IM'ed me everyday.

Hi Shirley, my daughter left the same day. She's on hold in Pensacola until A school starts on the 26th. I talk to her daily and she's very homesick. But, I know she's ok. I guess they have to grow up sometime.

My son graduated May 9, but will not be going to Fla until he gets medical leave. He had an emergency just after capping, didn't get to march in PIR, and is on hold at GL for medical reasons. I am looking forward to better communication when he gets there. ;D

Hey Moms! My son is Kirk Kempe and we are going to see him over Mem Day weekend. Anyone else going then? Am I reading that they may have to wait up to 2 mos to start A school training? Kirk is bored, but doesn't really complain. He's ready to get going though. He's on barrack duty this week-cleaning all week! at least he gets paid for it. He grad 4/18. anyone heard anything else about that class and them getting going in school?

Hi Beth, My son Matt is on hold in Pensacola as well. He's been there since March 23rd and should start school on may 28th. We're going up Mem weekend as well. Where are you staying ? We're staying at the comfort inn, just a mile away from the Base. I can't wait to see him although these last 2 months have gone by much faster than BC. I'm sure thats b/c I talk to him all the time and I know he's doing well. What is Kirk going to school for ? Matt is AS - Aircrew equipment support technicion. Maybe we'll see you there next weekend. My son graduated 4/18 too. What barrack is he in? Mine is in D My son told me he could be there up to 6mo waiting for school. My son like yours is ready to get going and is bored but seems to be doing well.

I don't know. All I know is Room 235 on USS Abraham Lincoln-I guess that's the barrack. He's in school now and likes it. What is yours in school for and what's his name?

Tricia, is there still a 2-month wait for aircrew school? My son graduated on Friday and is leaving for Pensacola Thursday for aircrew school.
