I know one of the moms from our bc graduation date - her son is also a MA, he got orders to Bahrain and the next day they changed them to Italy. Keeping you and your daughter in our thoughts.

Click on groups at the top of the page and search for Bahrain. Also in the search window at the top - you can enter Bahrain and it will pull up different conversations with that word in it.

My daughter, who still have 3 weeks left in her MA training, has been assigned to Guantanemo. Anyone know anyone who has been there?

Good afternoon Navy Moms,
My son is at BC his graduation date is set for Aug. 1st; he is also in the Navy as a MA. Tell me it does get better after BC right? Donna

My son graduated BC on June 13, - Yes it does get better after BC. Tristan has 1 roommate now - they graduated from the same div and ship. The space is bigger for their stuff. He really seems to be enjoying it. He is supposed to get pepper sprayed next Monday. He said MA's get sprayed twice a year from what he has been told. I hope you get to go to your son's graduation on Aug 1st. It is really quite an awesome event. We went to Tristan's and it was really nice.

Could some one tell me where most ma's get stationed after A school

The orders seem to be all over the place from the moms I communicate with or what you will see on this site. I know one MA that just left for Italy for three years, first he received orders to Iraq but the next day they changed to Italy.

Other orders have been to Guam, Kuwait, etc. Have you joined the MA moms, you might get some really good information there.

Are they usually on ship or shore with there first orders

Sounds like there has been a fair amount of shore duty orders lately but that is just based on those that I know. MA is a big rate, I suspect both orders are being issued.
