It's true! NAVYForMoms wants to develop some webcasts to provide you with more information about the Navy. Please vote for the topic you would like to learn more about and whom you want to hear it from.
Now if there is a subject that you want to know about but we didn't put it up- please use this thread to tell us! That also goes with who you want talking to you during the webcast. :D
and just because I like to add photos... :)

I agree with the A school , Boot camp idea! in those 2 area's is where i have seen the most people have lot's of question's.... and then next would be " what does the navy have to offer someone who wants to join or is in DEP"
This is a terrific idea, as a new military mom I will like to hear certain information from a sailor. Information concerning their experience in bootcamp, A school and life after.
I agree that any info on Basic Training at Great Lakes, and also school afterward, would be great. Like, what is "A" school, and "C" school? Where are all the schools located? What is daily life like while in "A" school - as in, where do the kids live, what personal items can they have (ie: laptops), and so on. Also, any information for DEP parents would be great. What can parents expect while their child is in the DEP? Can the kids visit their recruiters whenever they'd like, or is that off limits? Just how much contact does a Depper have with his/her Recruiter? Looking forward to the new Webcasts!!
I would like to know more about the culinary chef school and how long you have to be schooled for that. And when do they find out where they are going once they are in A school. Thank-You CC
