Mary, the Graduation was wonderful, very impressive event. The new sailors worked very hard and we are very proud. Don't miss it, it is something you will remember forever. They look so great in their uniforms.

Thanks for the thoughts, After such nice weather on 3/14, I was feeling bad for those graduating this past Friday 3/21 with all the snow. I hope that all the people coming in for the graduation had safe traveling. I really didn't think about how it would be during the earlier snow storms we had this year except wondering how our recruits had to deal with all the snow. Knowing now how much walking there was between the parking lot and the drill hall it could have been a mess. I imagine that they have the walkway shoveled pretty well. To those that were there on 3/21, Congratulations to your new sailors.

Happy PIR March 27th :)
Make sure you come home and tell lots and lots of stories.

And yes the 21st grad I personally worried about them also. I even heard that O'hare was closed for awhile ? Anyway it seems to have gone well for them. So I am really happy about that.
Funny what one week can do to from the 14th to the 21st it was like night and day.
