Navy For Moms

I have seen on the news that a sailor came up missing over the weekend during a Liberty break in Pensacola. Please say a prayer for this family and the safe return of thier soldier. I feel so badly and wish I could do something to help, then I thought there is nothing more powerful than prayer and if all the mothers and fathers on this site could say a prayer as well, I know God will hear us. God Bless Our Children!

Ok...I was having a No cry day until this.. Good lord a parents worst nightmere. My son..I hate to say has no street smarts and that is one of the things I am sooo worried about when he gets to A School and then has more freedom. I know we have to let them grow up.. but My heart is TERRIFIED.

I have many many prayers to say tonight...

Hey Steph, they are going to take classes in A school about safety and a bunch of other stuff. Pretty much right away, and most of the time the newer sailors have a buddy with them. It sounds like there might be some personal issues going on with this young man, alchol was involved and some of the family and the medicine man think he may be holding up somewhere with a lady friend.

yeap, that is true as i remeber, when they have their first leave after they finish A school, if they leave the base they have too be on the buddy system, if they don't have a buddy they can't leave the base.and they are assigned buddies, Graig Hoskie's parent's need too check , this out, their is
some kind of assigned buddy list, if they know who these buddies were, it might lead them too, what happened too their son, My son was in Pensacola, and i went too see him after he graduated from A school, and i remeber having too take him back too the dorm, at a certain time, before midnight, The Navy kept
track off those sailor's they had sign in and sign out sheet's at the dorm's.

It breaks my heart to see her cry. I can't imagine. We love our kids so much. My prayers are with the family. I truly hope they find some peace.

This is so sad. I know that there is suppose to be a buddy system to protect them from impulsive decisions that could hurt them. I can not imagine this pain. Prayers to the family and sailors in A School
