What Division and Ship was your son in? My son James was in Division 267 Ship 10 and his PIR was 7/25 (Friday). I have group pictures of that Division (267).. let me know and I will see what I can do to help..

My son was in Division 260 Ship 05 & his PIR was 7/25 also. I was looking online & seen 1 photo of my son with two other guys. I really wish I could of went. I know I'll regret it the rest of my life.

Oh Kell, don't beat yourself up , there are lots of moms that don't get to go for many reasons. You have the rest of his career to see his milestones.

Kelley..Please don't beat yourself up about this!!! I am sure that he knew and understood whatever your reason was. You will have lots of time to see him in his uniform and spend time with him throughout his Navy career..HUGS...

At the Great Lakes Recruiting Command, there is a phone number to the photographer, call them and you may be able to order the cd.

Kelly - I'm the one that took the picture of your son. I have two more on my page that are awaiting approval. I have so many more that I would love to send you. We actually called him TJ all weekend so the pics will say "Sailor French & Sailor TJ."

I posted a comment on your page asking you add me as a friend - I will happily burn you a disc and send it to you.

He did miss you but understood that you couldn't make it. Try not to beat yourself up about it...I know we moms tend to do that - too much sometimes. Instead focus on his accomplishment and take pride that you raised a fine young man! He was a joy to have with us!
