Lisa, I'm so sorry but we're not staying at the Navy Lodge or I would definitely give her a ride. Our hotel has a free shuttle to graduation, she may want to check and see if the Navy Lodge does. Good luck!

Hey Bridgette.. could I ask what hotel you are staying at ? I just need to know she is someplace safe and has reliable transportation to graduation. thanks

Lisa- The Ramada Inn (Waukegan) and the Holiday Inn (furnee) each provide transportation to and from PIR. The Holiday Inn is very nice, great location (right across from Gurnee Mills Mall). I have different ideas of the Ramada, a friend stayed there and said it was a good place to stay, but there was an odor. They both have on site restraunts. Go to hotels.com and type in Great Lakes Illinois. It will was you for a landmark and you can put in Great Lakes Naval Base. This will show you all the hotels in the area.

Hey Lisa. We're staying at the Ramada in Waukeegan. They give discounts to people going to the graduation ($82/night). Which, if you're on a budget is a pretty good price. There's a code you put in for the discount, LPNN (I think, it shows it on their web site.) Good luck!

The Ramada Inn, does have a shuttle that will drop you off and pick you up as well. And it is free of charge.

Lisa ...my husband and I are staying at the Navy Lodge and can give her a ride... We are talking about the Graduation of 8/15 right?

Hi there. Her plans have changed again for the 5th time I think. lol Seems as though her mom is going after all and they are going to rent a car. Will let you know if that changes. Thanks.

Gail, I think we're all doing the exact same thing ... writing everyday, attaching our cell phones to our bodies, and keeping sane by chatting with each other. I wish I could hug my daughter right now! I can't wait for my phone call tomorrow!!!

Hi Amy my son is in the same division. My son says he has made a lot of friends but he hasn't said any names. We are really looking forward to seeing him Friday. Will your son attend A school there? Mine is. I haven't heard from him in 2 weeks. Have you heard from your son?

Deanna.. my son wrote about knowing your son in a letter we got from him yesterday. Says your son mentioned knowing me from on this website. Says he and Ray are friends.. cool thing huh ? Talk to you soon.
