My daughter is in the same division. I always receive her "diary" as I call it on Thursdays. She writes something every day and mails it all in one letter. Nice reading this way.

My daughter is scheduled to PIR on Sept 5th, she is attached to Div 331 Ship 14. This past week we received 6 letters, she wasn't able to write one week so she made up for it the following week.

Linda I did not get a letter one week and my daughter explained that she had to stand the watch that particular Sunday....

Thanks Robin for the info,
that might be why We didn't receive a letter.

My son is Ship 10, Div. 320. I got a letter on Wednesday, and a phone call on Friday. He said he had a busy week, on the firing range. This was their week to work with weapons, so maybe they were all just very busy. His letter was shorter than usual, so I am thinking they were pretty much on the go the whole time. Ethan has been so homesick in his letters up until this last week, that I am sure he writes whenever they are allowed. When he was SIQ (wisdom teeth), he started a letter, and finished it on the following Sunday. It was 4 full pages long! This kid wasn't much of a writer before he went in...
Ethan's PIR is also 9/5. Have you heard anything about a delayed graduation? Ethan is worried that some of the girls and a few guys in his ship might keep them all from graduating...

Laura called also on Friday and had the same worries about not be able to graduate. I don't think they will keep a whole division back as they run a tight schedule. I told her to do and learn her stuff and she shouldn't have anything to worry. My older daughter was in boot camp 2 years ago and said that they would threaten such stuff all the time to keep them on their toes...
