My son left Tuesday, 8/05. Thursday, my husband found out Nicholas' address (Ship 12 Division 858, ). Today, 8/08 we received a box with his tote, what he was wearing when he left, note pads (4 large pads still in the plastic), all the pencils and pens (still sealed). We did not receive his cell phone that he took with him.....when did your son leave, and when/what packages did you receive. We have mailed our son 10 letters since Tuesday ( between mom,dad,sister and girl friend).Where do you think his cell phone is?

hi my name is judy my son tim went thru bootcamp last year about this time bootcamp does suck as your son put it but its all worth it in the end.my tim just hated it but after graduation hes a lot betternow he loves the navy.its hard at first but things will get better...it hurt me so bad to know he was someplace he hated..but he hung in there and like i said now hes happy and not even wanting to quit...proud mom of a sailor.....

Our son has pink eye, but he continues to do well! One more week until we leave for GL! YAY!!!

Yahoo I did, yesterday. Three more days. My Matthew is grad and go but we can spend time with him at the airport.

We received a call from our son. He sounded so good! Battle Stations are over and after they eat, they get to go to bed. He said they will get 10 hours of sleep tonight. DIV 305 should be awake and rested for PIR on Friday!!!

We heard from our son - he sounded great! He said, "Hi Mom, I'm a sailor!". Just 4 more days and I get to see him!! Hooyah!!

My son's bunkmate is SR Hixson (not sure of the spelling)... Mom, are you on this forum????? My son had nice things to say about your son!!!
