Thanks to all of you for all the encouraging words. But you know, I really did not do anything special. You all know that everyone of you would have done the same thing for my son or any of our children if we could. My son leaves in less than three weeks and I really don't know how you all got through this. It really is the hardest thing I think I've ever tried to prepare myself for. Again, thank you all so much for your kind words. They could not have come at a better time. YOU GUYS ARE THE ONES THAT ROCK!!!

You know you are right but it was still one of the kindest things Ive heard in awhile. You will be fine its hard when they first leave but you get buy. I was so thankful for this sight. please stay in touch we are all here for each other

Theresa:
Please know you now have a support system of over 5000 strong. We are here for you when you need us. My son just left for his first deployment and is in Norfolk waiting to be flown out to meet his ship. From boot camp to "A" school to the fleet, each move means we as Moms have a new set of worries and questions.
I won't tell you it's easy when they leave for boot camp, it's one of the hardest things I've ever gone through. But we get through it with the help of everyone on this site.

Hi Theresa! I just read on Stephanie's discussion what an amazing and selfless thing you did for her son,,If there's one thing we know, it's how other N4M's feel when their sailor is so far away and needs assistance, My angel came in the form of my future daughter-in-law when my son needed to be picked up from the airport coming home for his liberty (she did that more than once),,You truly are a generous and giving person,,that's just another jewel in your crown, Blessings to you and your family,,Always, Erelene
