He is finishing A school on Nov. 6 and will come home then. I just didn't know how someone could come home after leaving PIR on August 8??? My son said they have to earn leave just like people with jobs earn vacation. He knows how to do it. I just didn't know how Marilyn's son did it so fast. He surely is still in A school when only graduating on August 8.

If he's in Phase III and he has the time off (not on duty) he can go home without having to use any leave. My son arrived in Pensacola in early August and is already in Phase III.

I am currently at NATTC Pensacola awaiting my classes to start. Life here is easy all we do is barracks support untill 1500 then we are on liberty the rest of the day (unless your duty section is on duty). Your son's and daughter's have plenty of times to talk to you during the day (if they have their cell phone) so, don't let them lie to you! I talk to my mother atleast 5 times a week and my sister about 2-3 times. Hope this helps atleast a little bit. If any of you have any questions about NATTC Pen just send me a message.
