my son knows I am on this website, has seen my page, and my blogs. He thinks it is awsome.

Nick knows. I wrote him about it while he was in boot camp. Like Shell, he's seen my page. I was hesitant to discuss where he is stationed and what ship he'll be on but he told me to go for it. He wanted me to be able to talk to the other Lincoln moms.

My daughter knows about this aite and thinlks it's great that we have a what she calls a My Space for Navy Mom's. She's even told her shipmates about the site so they can let their mom's know about it too.

MP,that's kind of funny but neat-a my space for moms.I told my son about it and he thinks it's great too that we can all reach out to each other.

My son is always somewhat amazed by the technical questions I ask him. He says "you know about that? how?" and I say "I learned it on N4M." He's also been pleased to hear about some of his boot camp buddies who have gone elswhere, got married, whatever. I find out these things on N4M and pass along the info to him. He thinks it's great.

My son thinks this is an awesome site and is so glad that I found it. He fills me in on what is going on and says " I know you want to share this with your friends on the site Mom" I wish the Air Force had something similar since my Navy son is a twin and his brother is flight crew in the Air Force. So I know a lot more about the Navy then I do the Air Force. Both of my sons are married and they are not bothered at all that I discuss them. They both know that no matter how old they are they will always be my babies:))))) My son reminds to update my profile when he finishes a school and he checks it out to make sure I do that:)))))

I wrote to my son about N4M's while he was in boot camp. I would ask him if he knew the other guys whos moms I met from his division. And he knew who I was talking about by first name and where they were from. They all seemed to get a kick out of it. I think they were happy to know that we were doing whatever we could do to be connected...some how.

Not only does my daughter know about it she joined when she completed boot camp. She knew how much it helped me and she thought she might be able to answer some of the new boot camp mom's questions. She doesn't get to spend allot of time on here but she does try to sign in at least once a week.

Hi Moms- thanks for all of your replies. My son called yesterday to wish me a Happy Birthday and I told him about this site and asked his opinion. He was aware and gave me the 'green light' as long as I didn't start posting his baby pics :-) So I will be adding more info about my sailor a little later. Again, thanks ladies, I am so glad to be a member with you. God's peace and good journey to all of you, your sailors and your families.

My son knows about this site..He doesn't like it is worried about wrong info and security issues. He has not seen my page nor would he want to just as I have not seen any of his private things we are both entilted to our own privacy and I would never invade his...nor would he invade mine.
