I got a 15-second phone call today, the first to get through in 8 weeks exactly. Jonathan is Div 159 Ship 13. He said he has Battle Stations tonight and he would call tomorrow.

oh and even though I have not heard anything yet we leave tomorrow by train to GL. Cross fingers. My husband will get up there thursday night.

I haven't heard from Victoria either. When she called Saturday she said they were doing BS Tuesday-today. She didn't say what time it started. I'll post it as soon as I hear anything.

Victoria called about 2 pm to announce Div. 157 passed BS and got their Navy ballcaps. Apparently only one person in the whole Div. didn't pass. Way to go!

To all the moms...CONGRATULATIONS! I'll be in your shoes this time next Wednesday as my son's PIR is 4/25. I'm sure you are all excited about heading out to GL this weekend and seeing those new Sailors. I just had to check out your discussion so I could share the excitement! I can't wait 'til it's my turn!

IM RIGHT THERE WITH YOU LYNN!...:)....just got off the phone with my sailor..he sounded sooooooo tired!

Lynn and Cheryl...Tommy knows both of ur sons. Everyone, have a safe trip!....I'll not sleep till Fri. night im sure...lol

Congratulations Tracy and Cheryl, our boys made it and yes both Mississippi and Tommy are known by Derek. Travis and Derek won the ditty bag relay in the Captain Cup this past Sunday.
