About me:
My daughter Heather 23, is in DIV 241 SHIP 13. She left for BC 5/12/08.

I am married and have 3 kids + 1 daughter-in-law and a AWESOME Grandson. Nick, 27 and his wife Whitney, 27. Heather 23 and Taylor 16 and Aiden 3. Aiden is Heather's son and lives with us.

I know this will be a great experience for her, but she will always be my little girl....I am very blessed to have such a great family and wonderful friends for support.

Hi Denise - Just checking in to say that I've been praying like crazy for Heather. If there's a delay in the graduation date, I know you might not feel like posting anything - but just know that your family and your daughter are in my prayers. I'm sure it will work out okay - whatever happens.

Take care,
~Nancy

Denise - I'm so sorry I didn't reply sooner. I didn't realize I had an e-mail. I didn't get one of those "new message" flags. I just went on to check it anyway this afternoon (Sunday) and was shocked to find your message about Heather. I will pray, pray, pray! If, by chance, we hear from Ryan, I'll ask him to encourage her too.

Hang in there. We'll storm heaven for you.

Take care,
~Nancy

Hi Denise...I just read your e-mail about Heather. I'm very sorry to hear that news for all of you. My fingers will be crossed for her on Monday. She sounds like a go-get-em type of girl, I'm not counting her out of Battle Stations.

Hey Denise....my heart sank when i got your email but then i thought dangit woman...we are Navy Moms and your daughter will be a SAILOR!! I'm not big on exercise ( walking is pretty much it) so when you were talking about Heather having to do that run i was sooo praying for her. Now we need to shipmates to get her running this weekend so she can get that test behind her. So here's to Heather......you RUN IT girl!! I know she can do it.

Thanks, but don't let her fool you she can be quite the brat!lol! Your daughter must be dying to see her baby again! I know it's been hard on my husband and when they see each other I will probably cry!lol! It's actually funny cause she calls him "mama" and I think it will be funny to hear her yelling for him as "mama" in front of all his friends! :) She is so lucky to have you in her life willing to watch him for her while she goes and makes sure she can give him everything! It is really sweet!

Hey Denise! Our daughter's probably know each other? Megan is in Div 933. She went in on May 5, so she has gotten the whole 9 week of bc. I Can't wait to see her!!!! She has been really, really good about writing a letter nearly every night with a summary fo the day, then mails them all on Sunday or Monday, I love Thursdays as it's mail day at my house. We leave Colorado on Saturday and get into GL sometime Wed night - the time is going by quickly...I've got serious packing to do tonight! BTW, love your pictures, they're great!!! Bev
