About me:
My daughter is in Boot camp. We are flying out in 2 weeks for her graduation. I can't wait to see her. It's been hard not talking to her on the phone.
My child's FIRST name only (No Last Names Please!):
Christie
My son/daughter is:
In the NROTC program
I was the proudest of my child when:
She actually followed through with it and went. I could never have done that.
When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Was concerned or afraid
As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
To let go. She is 21 and old enough. I guess....
My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:
This was a maturing experience

Yes, I'm glad we have a great relationship. Being in the service has really helped her appreciate everything we have done for her. They grow up so fast!!
Have a great time at the graduation. It will definitely be an emotional one.

Hi Lisa my son Riley is from Massachusetts also and he will be going to Pensecola also. It's funny because I write to him every day while he is in bootcamp. I know that after that he will be busy with his friends and school but I will be there for him when he needs me cause that's what Moms do.
