Well, I have 4 children. Twin boys-22 yrs. , one being the enlisted one. Another boy 18, and a daughter 14. I also will be a stepmother in the near future of 2 more sons, 15 & 10 and another daughter 13. Also, a grandmother ...

I was the proudest of my child when:
There were many times i was proud of my son, I'll go with the latest one with joining the Navy!
When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Was proud, Was relieved, Encouraged him/her
As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
He isnt mine anymore :(....lol
I'm still learning as he is and will continue to support him.
My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made
