Form Letter

Hi, I just got my form letter. I got a real letter on Fri. the 18th and he said if all goes well he should graduate June 6th, he is in div. 209. In his 3 lines on the form letter he comments on the 16th he took a test that will determine if he goes on or is held back for a couple of weeks. Does anyone know what this test should be? Dinah

1st Letter

I can't beleive it I just received my first letter and he just left on 4/9. He sounds good, he said as long as he keeps his ears open and mouth shut he should graduate on June 6th. I was so suprised I got his letter before the form letter. He is in ship 11 division 209. I feel great.

Hi Dinah, just stopped by to say hello. How is Ryan doing. Chris went through grad ceremonies last Friday, but he isn't done quite yet. He is expected to finish by this coming Friday and hopefully be on a plane home for 2 weeks. Weather permitting LOL!! Any chance for Ryan to be moved to DC? Talk to you soon Teresa

Hi Dinah, Well we heard from Chris. His list was San Diego, Hawaii, Washington State, he wanted to be on the west coast. His orders were for Washington DC. 12 of them are going to the Pentagon and 6 of them are going to a special duty. I think it might be the White House, but we dont know yet. Our recruiter said he probably has Presidential Duty. Nothing is confirmed yet. We do know that he is not at the Pentagon. We are patiently waiting for more info. There is no base there so he will move into an apartment right away. A little scary, but it is an adventure! Teresa

Hi Dinah, sorry I have not had a chance to get back to you, Im in summer school and have a ton of homework everyday. I did get a chance to ask Chris if he knew Ryan and he said they are very good friends and they hang out all the time. I'm glad they have a strong group of friends that they all hang out with. Ryan loves Pensacola and is doing great, he is in night classes. We are going to go see him at the end of July, It should be fun. Glad to hear Ashley is doing well. Lunch sounds great.

You stopped in the webpage to see how things are going for everyone. How is Ryan liking "A" school. Ashley loves hers, she was made leader of the class so she is in charge of her whole class including 1 petty officer (out ranks her). We should get together soon for lunch and share info. Hi Dihah, Chris flew out on Sunday 6-8 @ 5:45 for Pensacola. He LOVES it there. I have never heard him so happy. I do know that he is hanging out with a small group from bootcamp. He was in division 206 ship 7 and I think he was the only IT in his division leaving for Pensacola. So all the other guys are from different divisions. But I know they are pretty close. One of his friends is and guy named Adam, but I will ask him if he knows Ryan. Chris Johnston is my son name and we are from California. I hope we stay in touch. Teresa
