Hi Jeanne,
I'm sorry I didn't get this message until this morning. I called Ryan & left a message on his
cell phone to let Andrew know that you all were trying to get in touch with him, that it was an
emergency. Hope everything is okay.
God Bless!

Darlene,

I hope that you get this message. David just called and we are trying to get in touch with Andrew. This is an emergency and we were wondering if you could have Ryan to tell Andrew he needs to call his dad ASAP! This is very serious and we will contact the red cross if need be, but David asked that I contact you first. If you receive this or are able to get in touch with Ryan, please let me know. Thank you so much.

Hi Darlene. Thanks much for your message! I really appreciate it. If there was an opportunity for pics, I'd be happy to see them. My ex said he has not heard from Andrew as far as his plans for the 4th are concerned...so I really don't know anything either. If I hear something, I'll be sure to let you know! Thanks for letting me know that you saw my son ~ Lucky YOU! =) Jeanne

Darlene- thanks so much for the message about your visit this weekend!! I hope you had a good one! Colin called just after you all separated at the Pier, I think, told me he got a good hug from you and I can't tell you how much that meant/means to me! I didn't realize until pretty recently that Colin is so much younger than everyone else in "the crew". That's always been the case for him and his choice of friends, though. I'm pretty sure he's used to getting grief for it by now. ;-) Would LOVE to see any pix you'd like to share!

Hi Darlene....Just spoke with Andrew's dad and he said that would absolutely fine =) He said it would probably be better to meet you somewhere on the main Interstate as their house is pretty far off the beaten path...but he said that's great! Let Ryan know and we'll let Andrew know. Also, Andrew is not taking extended time over the 4th. I sure hope that helps things out?! Prayers....Jeanne =)

That would be great Darlene, I don't think will be taking any leave time afterall....just the weekend. I know that Andrew's dad wouldn't mind....I'll talk to him. If you see my guy, tell him how much his mom loves him and misses him and how proud I am of him...bet you couldn't tell that at all!

Hi Darlene! I hear you're visiting Great Lakes this weekend! How great! You'll get to see Ryan post-grad-stress, which should be really nice for all of you. I must admit jealousy of your trip. Sure wish I could get back there but it just isn't in the cards right now. :-( Take lots of pix and have a great time. And if you see my kiddo, you're allowed to give him a huge hug from me. ;-) Or and handshake...Whatever works. lol Really excited for you and know Ryan's told all the guys you're coming, so he is very excited to see you too!! Enjoy!

Hi Darlene,
Thanks so much for your note and good thoughts...they are very much appreciated. Yes, I am keeping Andrew close in prayer that he'll do okay with his studies and I'll keep Ryan in prayer as well. There can never be enough good help! Andrew was diagnosed as dyslexic in school...hopefully he will have retained enough of the skills that help him learn to keep his schooling healthy and not too stressful for him. He's a great kid and he works very hard and I want him to do well for his sake. Take the best of care and know that I'll be thinking and praying for them both and for you, I know how you feel! Blessing!

Darlene,
Thank you so much for your words of encouragement and prayers for Jim. We are supporting Jim as he tries to get permission to train again. I don't mind a kid getting in trouble for something they've done, but he is getting in trouble just for a medical diagnosis that he has. That doesn't seem fair, and the people in the legal department are helping him fill out the proper forms to appeal his placement on Ship 17. It's pretty crazy over there, though, so I hope it doesn't take too long.
I know you must be getting so excited about Ryan's graduation. I'm sorry I won't get to meet you, but I want to hear all about it!
Thanks again for praying for Jim. Ellen
