When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Was proud, Encouraged him/her
As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
stay calm and leave my son in God's hand's
My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Great New's Finally going too see my son

Great New's my son called me from Guam and said the captain from the K.H. , told them that they were going too be in Hawaii July 1st, Well gtg, got too rebook my flight, Darn i'm so Happy ( -:

K.H. in Guam , in a couple of day's

My son Just e-mailed, they will be in Guam in a couple of day's, he said he would call me i can't wait too hear his voice, and get some detail's, when will the K.H. go under-way, too Hawaii, i sure hope everthing work's out, it's really stressful not knowing, what the K.H. will decide too do. but oh well. i guess i'll work on my veggie and flower garden, it keep's my mind busy, if you know what i mean, lol ( - :

I just joined this web-site a few days ago. I remember your son in high-school. I think I met you also, maybe a band concert or a play.
Stephen, in the Navy. played trumpet. My other son, Nick, a student at Lamar University, was in many theater productions.

my son did the same came to the us ie washington state then flew back to meet his ship in japan then crossed over to gw he called me when he left port said he will call during the holidays cant wait!!!

Hi,
My son Marty is a Store Keeper, they supply all of the parts for the planes. I have not heard how they are going to Japan, or if they are stopping on the way there.
I just keep looking on the navy sites. The GW has it`s own site, and Navy.mil. I hope to hear something from him soon.

Hi sorry it took a while....I am so busy now.
But no he's not going to Japan, he's actually getting deployed to Iraq but we're still waiting on his orders, so for now he's staying in Washington maybe for the rest of the year until he gets his orders
yea I work at L.A. Fitness in the kids area and Hooters on the weekends....and full time student, I'm tired! lol
I was talking to Juan last night and he was telling me that he was on a little ship now....hopefully I get to visit him sometime next month....I'm saving....

Hello! Yes my son will be crossing to the GW but not until he gets back to Japan. He is here right now for a few days, he is staying with KH until it reaches Washington then flying back to Japan to join his ship. He looks wonderful, the Navy has really taken care of him! Have a great week!

K is a Blue shirt on Air Crew....What did Ronnie Joe do before he was a yellow shirt? Yeah, I have watched alot of the videos on You tube and I watched the carrier series. All of the Air crew jobs are very dangerous....they have to have they wits about them at all times. Not that us Moms every worry....K is a smart kid and I pray his Angels always walk beside him......:)Andrea
