About me:
PROUD OF MY SON MOM.
MOTHERHOOD COULD NOT FEEL ANY BETTER THEN THE FEELING OF ACCOMPLISHMENT WHEN RAISING SUCH A GREAT SON.
My child's FIRST name only (No Last Names Please!):
MICHAEL
My son/daughter is:
Enlisted
I was the proudest of my child when:
MY SON IS MY BEST FRIEND HE HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR ME. I'M SO PROUD OF MY SON EVERYDAY, HE MAKES ME PROUD BECAUSE HE IS HIMSELF. SMART,FRIENDLY, FUNNY,KIND, HELPFUL,INDEPENDENT,AND GOOD LOOKING, BUT MOST OF ALL HE GIVES 110% IN EVERYTHING HE DOES.
When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Was concerned or afraid, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud
As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
FAMILY VALUES GO A LONG WAY. IM GLAD I HAD ALL THE TALKS WITH MY SON OF EVERY ASPECTS OF LIFE, I AM CONFIDENT THAT HE WILL MAKE THE BEST OF EVERYTHING IN HIS LIFE, AND ALL THE RIGHT CHOICES. IM SO VERY PROUD OF HIM.
My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:
Our relationship has grown stronger, This was a maturing experience

Thanks so much for the pictures of the choir. Boy is it hard to tell them apart, they all look alike. ;op. I hope you had a great time with your sailor this weekend. Was it harder to let go the 1st time or the 2nd? I have a feeling it is going to be so much harder to let him go again.

Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. I hope all is going well, and that your son is going to get stationed near home. I am very envious of you if he does. My daugter is stationed in Virginia @ Norfolk, my son is in Chicago right now but has his orders he is going to San Diego in Aug/Sept so both are on each side of the country we are in the middle ( michigan ).

Don't worry there is almost nothing you can't find out on this site, catherine our wonderful administrator will find you the answer if we can't. Tell your husband there is a group of dads on this site that he can talk to too. Hang on it gets 100% better after they get out of bootcamp. Trust me been there and done that first with my husband 27 years ago, oh my god doesn't that date me, and both my kids, my daughter and baby last august, and my son and best guy this march. So I can tell you it does get better. Any questions feel free to give me a hollar.
