Hi Pam...nice to meet you. My son has been there since June 4th. It has been a real adjustment period. He loved boot camp, but has stated that since in Pensacola...most of the guys have seemed to forgot all the dicipline and rules they learned. He told me last night he wishes he was back in boot camp, whch made me giggle! He started ATT today, which is the schooling they make you do right before the actual A schooling. We're hoping that he starts A school pretty soon after hes done, as he said it would only take 4 days for them to finish ATT.

Hey Pam, I saw on your page that Michael has made it to Pensacola. I guess that means he's back in good health - always good news. Congrats!! :) The going gets a little easier now. You can talk to him whenever he gets a minute after class (ha ha). The last time I talked to Steven (6/18) it was 21:30 (9:30 p.m.) but we got to talk for an hour. Hope you're having a great day!!
Hugs from Houston,
Cindy

Dear Pam, I've been thinking about you today. Sounds like you're still going through a rough time. Let me know how y'all are doing. Hoping you have "fair winds and calm seas" soon.
Love, hugs & prayers from Houston,
Cindy

Pam, I hope that Michael is continuing to improve and will get to go to Pensacola very soon. My son is there now, and says he can see Pensacola Bay right outside his barracks window. He says he has on-base liberty during the week, and off-base liberty on weekends (although he has to be back on base at night). We'll be spending next weekend at the beach (we go there frequently) and are excited about being able to see him again. Don't worry about Michael being held in Great Lakes an extra week or so - my son says he is on a 2-month hold to start his next classes in Pensacola. I hope that you get to feeling better soon, too!

Hey Pam:
sorry you have the flu! I am so glad Michael called you. I know that made you feel better. I am sure that his blood work will be fine! Hope you are up at it soon yourself! Dona

Hi Pam, Thanks for the support. Yeah, at least I'm able to talk to her daily at this point. I know she'll be fine. It's me I don't know about.

Pam, I am so glad to know that Michael is doing better. That is wonderful that he will get to go on to Pensacola next week!
