- I have always been proud of both my boys. When Dillon came home from swearing in I have never felt more proud or scared in the same moment or day.
- When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:

- As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
- My son has always had drive, determination, and responsible. I am learning (or trying) to learn how to cut the apron strings. I don't think that I will ever be able to do that... my children have been my world since they were born and I am trying very hard.. Also, that my son is really growing into a wonderful person.

Yes I am so excited Jarid wil be coming back home again real soon! Not sure excatly when... as things in the Navy are somehow top secret til the last minute...(haha). But even though Jarid will be leaving but please keep me posted on Dillon... I would like to know where he gets station at so i can tell Jarid. I am so happy for you you finally get to see Dillon this weekend I KNOW how excited you are!!!!!!!!! Well talk to you later...

Just wanted to let you know we really enjoyed having Dillon over for the weekend! He is a really really great kid...oopps sorry... man...but I'm sure you know that already. I'll let him tell you about all the interesting food he ate here...lol! Well talk to you later...

Yeah, I talked to jarid all weekend... they had a blast and when he called me sunday evening on thier way back he was hoarse...haha... Jarid is coming home August 15th for the weekend I think Dillon is coming in with him... Jarid starts his AO class today FINALLY so hopefully in 6 weeks he will have his 2 week leave! I'm anxiously awaiting to find out where he will be stationed at??? Talk to you later.

I guess you could say Jarid is tolerating it... I think he is just ready to get to his job and get setttled and have a normal life... if you know what I mean... I think Jarid's schooling is about 2 to 3 months and was told that it would be about 2 months for his classes to start. No I do not have any other children... he is my one and only! Although I have adopted a few of his friends over the years...lol. Well I have to get ready for bed... gotta work all weeknd, so I'll talk with you later...
When I spoke with Jarid yesterday I was telling him about what was going on at the base in Great Lakes and he was shocked and told Dillion, then I heard Dillion ask him where I heard that from and Jarid said i read it on N4M and Dillion said... Oh Lord your moms on that too and they both started laughing...lol small world! Jarid got a tatoo for his 18th birthday and i was ok with ONE but last weekend he was talking about getting another one but then he realized how much money he spent at Hooter's and decided to wait...haha... Does Dillion have his car with him? Talk to you again soon...
Jarid is AO. He's been there since 7/03 and we drove there 4th of July weekend and hung out with him and some of the guys on base. We are from Louisiana about a 6 hour drive... Jarid is planning to come home for the weekend in 2 to 3 weeks (as soon as he gets to phase 3) and I think he might bring Dillon with him... Delete Comment
