Yes, Jarrad has been playing since he was little. He was stationed in Bethesda, MD for a while at the hospital and played in a league there. That was the team we played with up in Montreal. There seams to be leagues around for the kids. He might have to some hunting if he is in some of the warmer bases, but hopefully he will find a rink. Good luck to your family!

My son is a Chef, just finished is 3rd of 5 his years in December. He is a Petty Officer, now working in the officer’s mess. He is my only son and he has 3 sisters (24, 14 & 6), also a half sister in brother on his Mom’s side. He is on his way home (to his base) from deployment. He is into sports (like his Dad). We played in a hockey tournament last May in Montreal together, what a time!!! He is married to a girl from home. They have bought a town house together near his base. We are all very proud of him. It has been great for him to be in the Navy, hard on us, because we miss him, but great for him. One of the nice things about the Navy has been the ability to keep communications open while he is only deployment. We talk about once a week or so on “phone” and of course by e-mail. I can update him on the goings on with the family and what is going on with our local sports teams. You mentioned a “Dad’s” group on here, how do I contact them. Great forum! Thanks for all your welcoming thoughts, Kurt.
