Jan (Yahn)
My son/daughter is:
Enlisted
I was the proudest of my child when:
June 27, 2008: When I saw him at PIR, standing proudly and confidently in his uniform. He told me that he is proud of being in the Navy and happy in his choice.
July 23, 2008: When he told me he had made it into the Ceremonial Guard
Nov. 21, 2008: Seeing him at his Ceremonial Guard graduation in DC. Wow!
When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Needed to learn more about it, Was proud
My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:
The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

great pictures Carole, sure i would love those pictures of Ryan. my card was full before he came out and my daughters batteries were dead, she ended up getting batteries from the people that Meg gave them to. so she only got a few. Jenny ryan's girlfriend got alot of pictures but i haven't seen them all yet. you have me and my family in one of the pictures we're the attendees closet to the door on the left where they all came out from.

Thanks!!!! Hope your Thanksgiving was great. Jake made it home just fine. We had such a great visit. short but very nice. He is just leaving now to go back. Rain all the way back to Norfolk but at least it isn't snow or ice. So it will be slow going. He has leave at Christmas, 19th to 30th. He will have more time to visit all the family Our whole side was here at my house so that was easy.. This time was sort of hectic for him!!!! Sandy
