About me:
I live in Allen, Texas. I work as a Marketing Director for Movestar, Inc. It is owned and operated by off-duty Dallas Firefighters. My husband Steve is an officer for Dallas Fire Rescue. I am very proud of him. I am also very proud of my stepdaughter Kim who is following in her Daddys footsteps.
Kim is enlisting and planning on getting her fire department training and education thru the Navy and is very excited.
My child's FIRST name only (No Last Names Please!):
Kimberly
My son/daughter is:
Enlisted
I was the proudest of my child when:
When she told her daddy and me she was joining the Navy.
She thought long and hard on this and decided the decision to join the Navy was her calling.
When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Was proud
As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
Time goes by very quickly. Your child soon is starting their own life. I knew when Kimberly told her daddy and me
she was joining the Navy we had done something right.
My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:
The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

HELP! Does anyone know where my friends site went (Extremely proud Mom)

After chatting and catching up with my long lost friend I can't seem to locate her site. I know she was struggling with having a site in regards to her being a stepmom and feeling uncomfortable. I noticed she was very conscience and careful as she did not want to offend anyone or put her SAILOR at jeopardy. From what I can gather we are all here to support one another. Can anybody help me.

Dear Jake's mom,
How are you doing tonight? I'm doing well!
So Kimberly only just recently passed her exam. Now comes the physical!! HAHA!!
She'' be going to the recruiting station every week now for classes.
I remember it well!! HAHA!!
Time flys though, it was only a year ago , in the summer, we were joking Kim about the Navy, since she loves the water. Never thought she'd take it seriuosly!!! HAHA!!
I'm just thankful that my dad isn't around to know about Kim. He was extremly anti military!!! He passed away a few years back. God's timing was perfect. I would never have heard the end of it, if he were alive to know this!!
I bet your Kimberly is all excited about all this. To me, it was like a dream, I didn't believe it.
When we had the farewell party, and I saw the banner we had made up, that's when it hit me this was real!! UGH!
My Kim loves it, that's all that matters.
Let me get going. Please stay in touch.
Take care and God bless.

Dear Jake's mom,
As for my e- mail address, I use mom of three, myself!! HAHA!!!
How are you dong today?
SO Kim doesn't know how date yet?
I know that my daughter Kim passed her exam, she was given a date, for six months later.
I remember saying last Christmas, that this was the last one together for awhile.
Now she's on HOLD until she's stationed somewhere. The NAvy has been keeping her busy washing the white uniforms....sounds fun!!UGH!!
I guess that's it for the moment.
You take care and God bless.

Dear Jake's mom,
How are you doing? This Navy for moms is such a blessing. We keep each other's sanity!! HAHA!
I have to ask you, you go under Jake's mom, I assume your son, but Kimberly is in Boot Camp. But you never mentioned Jake in your profile!! HAHA!! I see Kim is your step daughter.
When did she start Boot Camp?
I enjoy sharing information with that.
My daughter Kim just finished A School, nothing else said past that yet.
I hope to here from you again.
Take care and God bless.
