I need to find out if there's a shuttle from the airport at Jacksonville, FL to the NAS...my daughter's flying in on Monday at 4:25 and I want to keep her safe! I'm sure she'll be extremely nervous about a new station etc, so getting here there safely with no hastles is VERY important! Does anyone have information about how the Dept of Defence does the ticketing between stations? My daughter's freaking out right now, because she's being moved from AD school in Pensacola to Jacksonville NAS. She want to "divert" her ticket so she can come home to Tulsa for 2 wks leave before going to her duty station...she is terrified how much money it's going to cost to do this...Anyone out there with information? Well, I got the phone call with a very excited young lady about "CLASSING UP"...We're now PHASE #3! Cate now has the privilage of leaving base Friday evenings and won't have to report back in until Monday morning...she's absolutely delighted, because her Grandma lives in Largo and she will get to go stay with her over the weekend! I know you're out there somewhere, whether it's A B OR C school!!! I got my Cate's copy of the KEEL yesterday!!! I've got wonderful pictures of the entire event, and YES, I cried like a Mommy AGAIN!!! It was so bittersweet to go through it in my mind one more time, all those days like you brand new Mommies out there, struggling to get by day to day...Please know that I miss hearing from the LOVE BOAT!!!
