About me:: I am the husband of Corinthia, and we have 3 boys. I am Mr. Mom while she is away. We received her clothes and a small note with instructions after a very brief phone call. We have not received a letter although we have written some and I went online to research and found this site.

Corinthia is graduating on 07/03 and she has battlestations on this Tuesday, so please keep her in your prayers. She is Div 241. This site has placed my mind herat and mind at ease so many times. I am very grateful for it. I am a member of the Div241 Ship 13 group and they keep me posted. I was a bit skeptical to join at first but there was so much information and everyone seemed friendly. I tried to talk my mom-in-law into it but she was waiting and waiting , so I joined. Coritnhia has wanted to make a decision about her life for so long and this decision is tough but it will only strengthen her and therefore our family. I thank you for your compliments and I know that you must be proud of your recruit.

Not alot of guy's would stay home and be Mr. Mom while their wife goes of to the unknown... you are a remarkable man... and i can see you love your family dearly ... My prayers are with you wife and her safety and success during this roller coaster ride we call boot camp ... please if there is anything you need jsut let me know.. I made a list of questions to ask should he call tonight and I'll ask if he knows Boykins. I'm sure by this time he does. The shaved head in the pics is Ernesto and the kids are his brother Nicks children. Nick was also in the Navy '94-'97. They will all be with us for PIR. I hope to meet you then.

Corinthia told me that she is the yeoman. She really enjoys it. I get letters when she has time, but I make sure that i send a letter or card each day so that she gets mail. The boys are in Chicago with Grandma, my in law and my mother. They both live in Chicago. It gives me a breather. I am very ready for graduation. Corinthia goes to Virginia after graduation. I sent her that list that was on this site too. I cleaned the house last weekend and turned the ringers off because everyone started calling, I took a nap and then at the end of my name, my cellphone rang. i was not able to catch it as I was just waking, well, it was Corinthia. I missed her call. I am hoping for a call this weekend since it will be Father's Day. We are all good here. I had an impulse last night and saw the Incredible Hulk midnight showing....never do that...now I know why...i fell asleep int he theatre. Thanks for checking on us. It wont be long. My mother in law, my aunt and my aunt in law are all coming to the graduation. The kids will be in florida with my mom for her annual vacation.

I guess Heather and Corinthia have met and are friends. She told her that we have talked on this website and in Heather's words "she got all excited". Heather is almost 24 and has a 3 year old son, so I am sure they have a lot to talk about (well, when they get a minute). She said Corinthia is the medical yoman and watches out for everyone. Are you going to PIR? We are coming and bringing Heather's son. Seems like they are all doing well in our DIV. Take care, ~Denise~
