About me:
I am Brandon's mom. I am so proud of MY son and love him so very much. I have two boys they are my heart and soul. I have ALWAYS believed in them and had faith in them. I knew that both of my boys could do whatever they set their mind to.

I can’t stand fake people, people who create DRAMA, and people who thrive from trying to cause pain to someone else.

I thank god for making me a strong person and lifting my faith to the level that those people don’t, and will never again get to me.

If I have to lend a piece of MY LIFE to someone else, for them to feel good about their own life, so be it! I have plenty of joy to share for those not as fortunate as I.

BRANDON I AM SO VERY PROUD OF YOU!
My child's first name:
Brandon
My son/daughter is:
Enlisted
I was the proudest of my child when:
When they announced his name for honor grad and when he graduated high school and went off to college. Added 5/17: And the fact that I hear from every single day now... I could not be prouder! My heart has not felt this way in such a long time. My son is MY Hero!
When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Was concerned or afraid
As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
Loving means letting go
My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:
This was a maturing experience, This was the best decision he/she could have made

Okay here is a step by step of my Grad

Okay here is what I went thru for all of you Navy for Mom attending future Grads. Friday morning: I woke up around 4:30 am to start getting ready because I wanted to make sure I was nowhere near late to Grad. I left the hotel around 5:30 am and arrived at the base at about 5 mins till 6. There was already a mile long line to enter the gate. I however, pasted the entry to the base and went down one more street to Ohio St and turned right (I made a drive by the day before to find this place). If y… Continue

PIR is over :(

Well PIR has come and gone and I am sitting at home now missing my son more that ever. Walking in the door at PIR and seeing my son standing there it became clear to me that he had grown into an amazing man. He held himself with such pride and honor. I am so proud to be his mother! That first hug will be locked into my heart and mind forever. Even with so much family there for Brandon I was able to spend almost the entire day with him and words will never explain how much that meant to me. My ev… Continue

My son and your kidos!

Well we have just days left and I just cant wait. Maybe I should just go get on a plane now. I feel like all of your kids are part of my family as well. I wonder what they are going to do when a bunch of strangers come running up and hug their necks. I have had so much fun talking and crying with each and everyone of you. This is the beginning for a long road ahead, and I know I have made some life long friends. Tammy T- My best buddy on N4M's, I swear God sent you to me! I thank him every day f… Continue

Sorry to have missed the video - how about putting it on utube and telling us where!! I love patriotic things - even if they are sad.

Oh I thought it was very therapeutic actually..I got to cry before I went. This Lake Charles soldier also had a 2 year old daughter. Tonight they are having a walk around the civic center in his honor. How is your broken foot. I wish I met you already, but I am sure we will have something else soon

You did a great job on the video. It was very hard on me today especially. A soldier Bryan M Thomas) that went to the same school with my sons died in Iraq. His body was flown to Lake Charles today, flag draped, and people had a silent flag vigil on the side of the road. His mother was in denial because he never told her that he was in Iraq.
