I was the proudest of my child when:
I have always been proud of my son. He has always been a wonderful son and now young man. This is a new journey in his life, one that will bring him a bright and wonderful future I beleive. This was not an easy decision for him as he leaves His Grandmother, all his long time friends , myself :-( and his long time girlfriend whom he loves dearly behind. But he knew this was the best decision for his future, his life to achieve all that he desires. As I said I have always been very proud of my son as he has been a joy from the day he was born. But this decision I must say is my proudest moment I believe. ONE of MANY MORE TO COME! God Bless you Chris ! I am so proud of you and Love and miss you dearly. Always remember when times are tough it is god testing you stand strong.
When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Was concerned or afraid, Was confused, Needed to learn more about it, Was proud, Encouraged him/her
As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
I havent learned allot yet still learning as he just left yesterday.

Are you still coming on the site? I was just wondering how Chris is doing. Andrew talks about him as being a good friend. He says that Chris lived in the bunk beside him for two months. He does miss the friends he made in boot camp, and wonders how they are doing. I hope you are all doing great!

Hello Heidi Anne How are you? Sorry it has been a while since I have been on the site. I had almost an hour to talk with my daughter on Saturday. She is doing very well. She is asking me to schedule an appointment for a manicure and pedicure as well as an appointment to get her hair done. I have no idea where to schedule this any ideas? My Mom, my niece and I arrive on 6/11 in the evening and are staying through early on the 17th.

I got the graduation packet today. I was looking for places to stay. I was online looking a flights etc,. I do not have anything yet. I plan to fly there on Thursday and probably come home on Monday. I heard that if you book at 12:01a.m. Wednesday morning that the prices are lower because seats that are not booked are released. The price though has gone up about since I first looked about 2 weeks ago.

Hi Heidi Anne, I got our call on Saturday, around 8:30 am Pacific time, I live in Oregon, and Chicago is two hrs ahead. I am glad to hear that chris called. I know it made me feel better just to hear mikes voice, I am not sure what the Phase thing is all about? Mike is also staying in Chicago for A school, He didnt mention anything about it. He is going into Medical also, Corpman
maybe thier is someone there he can ask those question to also.
That being locked down does not sound fun at all. if you get any answers that me know I will ask mike in a letter about it to see what he might know. Take care, enjoy your Sunday it is 5:25 am here as i wright are many hrs are you ahead? Tamie

Hi Heidi Anne, We got a phone call from Michael this morning he sounded great. did you get one from Chris? I was so good to hear his voice. Made my flight plans, staying at the Navy Inn, Michael wanted to stay as close to the base so he didnt feel rushed to get back. so hopefully we will meet. talk soon. Tamie

no phone call just a letter, i wish a phone call. in mike's letter he said that he was now a section leader. I guess that is good. lol I will wait one more week and see what happens i am hoping that he will be able to call before to long. Thanks, Tamie
