Hey Lori,

I really like that Kelly Clarkson song on your profile page, it so suits our young ladies--Miss Independent! Nope, did cook one iota for Thanksgiving and I was relieved to not have to this year. Instead we visited with family and friends and feasted on their good cooking. Next year, I'll probably cook. How about you, did you cook for family and friends?

Hi there Lori..Thanks for the reply. Yes, he's kinda getting use to Conn., but he is having to sit through one of those courses that he has sat through now for the 3rd time...He heard this speech at G.L. 's and then at A school and again at Conn. He is so bored. He wants to get in a real training school!!!! You said Jillian has a boyfriend up there. Is it someone from home or someone she met at GL's??? Dustin had a home town gal trying to talk him into getting married at Christmas time BUT WE did mega talking and stopped that little deal!!!! She just wanted a free ride and he was blinded by homesickness ...GLAD that is behind us!!!!!! Please stay in touch and let me know how you are... love Carol

Thanks Lori for the reply???Dustin didn't see much of Jillian after BC...But he did know she was still there. He leaves in about an hour for Grouten Conn. He was alittle sad leaving G.L. It has been home for 7 months... HEY how about the Texas-----O.U. game tomoeeow???? I hope O.U. beats them 60-0...I hate those Longhorns....Carol

Hey there Lori...Did you think I fell off the face of this ole earth????I have been soooooo busy but now it has calmed down...so I want to visit . What in the world is Jillian up to...Where is she now??? Dustin is still in GL but he leaves Friday...10...for Conn. He's gonna try submarines..It has taken so blasted long for his A school..Maybe this is really it...I hope...We got to see him after B.C....In July his other granddaddy died and got to come home for 5 days...It was very sad for him BUT, of course I was so happy to see him again.We talk on line everyday and he has a webcam so I get to see him also, that's the best part...Well, let me hear from you I always enjoyed our internet visits so much...have a great day...Carol..Du

Lori thanks for responding. Glad to hear that Jillian is doing fine. Thanks for the compliment about Jason's handsomeness. He hears that quiet often and it just swells his head up even more(lol). You have a very pretty young lady yourself. Jason is still at school in Pensacola and enjoying it. I can't say that I have heard him complain about anything since he has joined the Navy. Thank God! Not even while he was in BC. Hopefully, he will be coming home soon and I plan to be at the airport awaiting his arrival. I can't wait!

Thank you I think so but I'm kind of partial to them. We had the wind let out of our sails yesterday. Raven called home and told us she would not be graduating on time. She is 2 minutes long on her run. She said they are going to allow all 14 of them to retest on Thursday and if they make the time they will do battle stations that night. We were flying in from the West Coast and just can't take the chance of her not being able to attend PIR so we have opted to wait until we know for sure we will be able to see her.

i see you got one of the premade ones. lol. but if you want like all the cute pictures and stuff, you just have to have them saved to your computer/laptop. when you go in to change your theme if you scroll down more you can pick and choose things. some work and some just look funny. but its fun to play with it and make it your own =)

Hi stranger, Chem is kicking my butt. But I am hanging in there. I still have 3 more classes then I apply to the RN program at the local college in our area. Bio- chem is my spring semester horror class. Anatomy I am not to worried about. Then I just have Phiso left and I'm good to go. Are you having fun with your new students? I hope I have nursing teachers like you when I get there. Chris is coming home I believe on the 12th of September. I am very happy about that because his birthday is on the 15th. Yeahhhh! No cookbook for me, I don't cook. My husband does all the cooking in our house. I clean, he cooks. It is a great relationship. I made sure it was in the contract before he married me. LOL! I do breakfast and thats it. Worst wife you could ever want, I don't know what he was thinking LOL!
Chris is going to work for the top somebody of the Navy in Washington DC. I don't quite understand why he needs 6 IT's but all six are going to work for the head hancho of the Navy. I will figure out who he is and let you know. With the hurricane hitting Florida they are all on lock down. So I haven't really talked to Chris this week much. How is Jillian doing and when does she get to come home? Teresa
