Hi Holly, Happy Thanksgiving. How is Nathan doing? Patrick did't come home. Today he did his first Check out. And he went over to the reactor building. No much is happening. They have non Navy men working on thr reactor. I really don't know what happens next. Patrick says that no one knows anything. They always get different information from different instructors and it is frustrating.. I guess he can just take it one day at a time. Thanks, Laura

Hi Holly, No Patrick will not be home. How far do you live from Ny? Did you get to spend much time there? It sounds like Nathan stays busy all the time. Don't they have a Navy station in CT? That is nice you will have Alex home.I always get amazed that you are so knowledgable. I think the 3 boys pay 1200 and utilities.Which is not bad.I am looking forward to going there this spring to see NY. Have you spent much time in NY? Did you get over to Goose Creek SC? We couldn't. But I really enjoyed the trip to Great Lakes for Patrick BC Graduation. Thanks again, Have a good evening. Laura

Hi Holly, Thanks for all your great information. You know alot. Patrick does want subs for all the reasons you said.It is hard to think about being under water for such a long time. Yes, pay is a factor. On a sub do they do shift work,or have a set schedule? I am hopeing to get to NY in the spring. Thanks again.Have a good evening.

Hi Holly, My son is in Prototype school in NY. He wants to go on a sub. I was wondering how long of time do they stay out at sea? Being a nuke, do they just stay in that dept all the time? I would think there would be more room on a carrier to do more activities? Just wondering. Thanks

I think that Bobby said he would earn his dolphins this time
out and move up to an E4. We are trying to save his emails
for his wife and baby since she is not doing well with the
separation. We are hoping that we can get her to come stay with us for a few weeks while he is out to help her out..
I am going to try and put some pictures out this weekend.
Maybe our sons will meet each other since they went out
together.
