I'm sure that all of the Moms would agree, but I thought PIR was absolutely great! Very moving ceremony. It was so good to see all of them and be able to spend time with our new Sailors. Now everyone is on to school and we're somewhat back to normal. No more wondering and waiting for those letters that we may or may not get and worried that they don't make it through to graduation. Good luck to all of you as well as your Sailors!!

Dear Danielle,
I am still numb....I just feel bad thatsince I'm deaf, poor Kim had to leave a message on the voice mail.
Your the second mother who said that their son has not called yet. Please let me know when Chase calls. I know you are worried, the not knowing. Chase had to pass, if my little 5 foot nothing Kim managed to pass, Chase had to. I know everyone else is probably taller and stronger than Kim.
Kim is in Div 208 ship 11.
Please let me know about Chase, my prayers go out to you.
Keep the faith,
Barbara

Hi Danielle,
It was nice hearing from you. I also have thought about them today. I hope that they all did good. I haven't heard anything so I am assuming that they did the cap exchange and are now sailors. How about that..... I can't wait until Friday. Dillon said something about the chant. He said that was what sealed the deal for them as well. I tell you what I have the worse luck ever... I have been hurting in my back for about a week, went to the doctor yesterday and I have kidney stones. This morning they did surgery this morning and they could not get them. I have developed a severe infection. I told that doctor that I was going to see my son, he advised that I could go, just take it easy and gave me alot of pain medicane. It could not have come a a worse time. I am hoping that I will feel better before we leave. Anyway, drama, drama, well I let you go for now. Talk soon.

Hi Danielle,
I also heard from Michele this weekend. The Captain's Cup, from what Michele said, is like the Olympics between the brother divisions that will be at PIR together. Their division gets to carry the Red Captain's Cup Flag. From what I understand, you need to ask Chase about their "chant." Apparently, Chase had solo part. :-) Each division came up with their own chant for the "olympics" and I believe that it was what sealed the deal for the Captain's Cup.
I hope to see you Thursday night!

Hi Danielle,
I heard from Dillon today. There Division won the Captians Cup! I'm sure you got a call from Chase. It was good to actually have a min. to talk to him, you know a conversation. How was Chase? As for Dillon he sounded very tired. He said that he has been sick and then he has pulled his tendons in his ankles and now he he has some kind of rash. He said that he can't wait until Friday. They do the battlestations on Monday, cap exchange on Tuesday, and he said hopefully after that it will be down hill. Hope all is well with Chase. Look forward to hearing from you.
