Love sharing pictures, if you want, my e-mail address is klettke2@sbcglobal.net. There is a guy at the bowling alley who loves ships so I went online and found Navy ship pictures for his room of all things ships. He always asked how our Jamie is doing and loves to see the pictures, since he has met our son I gave him his e-mail address, he really loves to support the troops. Hope your Thanksgiving was a good one, mine was very guiet which was good. I work at Walmart and had to be to work by 4:15 in the morning,we opened at 5. A very busy hectic day, but very well organized with no major mishaps. I am getting my Christmas care package ready to go this next Monday or Tuesday. Have a good weekend.

I have showed some of the pictures to people at work and they say Jamie sure looks nice but look at the color of that water. They are so impressed with the water and the views. In my care packages I try to send snacks, a DVD and maybe a game that he wants. At Christmas now I will add a large package of something like the mini candy canes so that he can share with everyone around him. I know they really appreciate getting the packages. Our local VFW also sends out care packages during the holidays. My son Jamie is in the ENG/R division. Firefighter and VBSS team member. My last e-mail said what they had been doing and what the news is saying they will be doing next. I must say I'm a little worried about where they might be going. At this point I'm all for just shoot the pirates first and ask questions later. We're almost halfway there and am already starting to plan on homecoming. You all have a great Thanksgiving.

I just thought of something. If you have a Walmart by you and are interested they have fleece blankets available through the photo department. They have the branch of the service on them, you give them a photo of your serviceman, plus his name and rank. This then has the saying of,In Honor and graditude to,(name and rank) for the service and sacrifice for the people of the United States of America. I put it in my pictures so you can check it out there if you like. They are $39.99 and are really nice.

When you visited Virginia did you take the time to visit the U.S.S. Wisconsin? It is ported there and is part of the museum. We really liked all of it. We also took the time to do the Wathington D.C. tour. Jamie really wanted to visit the Arlington Cemetary, and must say it is very interesting, loved the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier. Do you go to the Navy website and look at the pictures of all the Carter Hall does? They have some nice ones of them going through the Suez Canal, etc.
Have a good weekend
Pat
