Please continue to pray for our son Logan

We received our 2nd letter yesterday. Logan did sound a little better. I guess he is starting to get used to things. However, he now has cellulitis in his left foot. He is having to go to medical daily to get antibiotics through an IV. Being his mom, I want to go and take care of him and make sure he is alright. I know I can't go, but I also know God is right there in GL with him and I have a bunch of wonderful Navy Moms praying for him as well. Please pray for healing and that this does not set… Continue

Please pray for my son...

I just received a letter from my son, Logan, today. He feels like he is not doing very well because he has been singled out a few times. My son is very shy. Please pray that God will give him the confidence he needs to do a good job. I know he is trying his hardest, but he is getting discouraged. Please pray for him.

Hi Robyn,
A group was started for the USS George H W Bush. Do you want to join it?

That's good that you hear from him often. Nate's not inclined to call that often so I guess I'll hear when I hear. I'm anxious to hear how his week is going since it started off so shakey for him. I'm sure he'll get into a routine. I'll keep in touch.

Hi Robyn, That's great about Logan finding Nathan. Nathan called me Sunday afternoon and he hadn't found Logan yet. He had just gotten there Saturday and was overwhelmed with the size of the ship and not knowing his way around. I'm glad they hooked up. It's better when you don't feel so alone. Nathan told me his cell phones doesn't work on board ship because he can't get a signal so I don't know how often I'll hear from him. He had gotten off the ship to call me. How often do you hear from Logan?

Hi Robyn, Nathan is still on leave and isn't due to report to the ship until Sept 20 so he'll be there next week. Did you enjoy your time with Logan when he was home? Nathan went to San Diego for his leave so I won't be seeing him.

Hi Robyn, I think I saw a post from you that Logan is being stationed aboard the USS George H W Bush. Is that right? If so, Nathan is being stationed there too. He has to report by Sept 24. He'll be finishing A school on Sept 9. I told Nathan that at least he'll know 1 person out of 5,000 when he gets to the ship. I'm excited that their first ship experience will be on a brand new ship.

Hi Robyn, I apologize for this delay but I took an extended vacation after PIR and just got back. I'm sorry we didn't get to meet at Flanagan's during the meet and greet. Since they sat us at a table all by ourselves, we didn't meet anyone until the end when one other family sat at our table. I guess I wasn't comfortable enough to get up and go over to where everyone was sitting and introduce myself. To be honest, I'm not even sure if you were there. Anyway, it was a great time in GL. Our sons do know each other. Nathan said that Logan told him we (you and I) were going to "hang out" together at Flanagan's. Nathan was the Recruit Chief Petty Officer for Div 261. I am so proud of him. He left GL the day after PIR and is in Pensacola, FL waiting for A school to start. Where is Logan? I just wanted to touch base with you and let you know I was there and sorry we didn't get to meet. Maybe another time. Take care.

Tawni is on hold in GL...not enough people for her class, yet. Supposed to start school the 29th. Once it gets started, it will last 6 months. So, she will be there for Christmas. I miss her so much. Unfortunately, it costs so much to go to GL. You have a save an wonderful trip. I know I don't know Logan, but please tell him that "someone from Oklahoma" is very proud and happy for him! Valle
