I was the proudest of my child when:: When we were sitting on the runway at Midway airport and he called and said I did it. I passed Battle stations!!

As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:: My husband and I raised a strong and smart young man and we now had to let him go see the world and live out his dreams!

My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:: This was a maturing experience, The Navy has a lot to offer, This was the best decision he/she could have made

My sons job is MA. Usually that "A" school is in San Antonio, Tx - don't know why Derek got sent to Virginia Beach.
