This was something my son needed to do for himself. After I got use to the idea (I still do not like it), I realized that it was his life and he was doing what he thought was right.

Man, could I use a cup of coffee with a Navy mom! Don just left for his duty station again.....his girl was in town too she leaves to go back to her duty station also. The emotional up's and down's with all this is tough.

Hi Donna, My name is Karen I live in Weeki Wachee, even though my zip is Brooksville. I live off of 50 in Royal Highlands. My son is an E-4 and actually enlisted in Brooksville about 2 years ago. He is an IT stationed on a new destroyer ,USS Nitze out of Norfolk, Va. He is currently IA in Iraq. He felt he should go instead of a female shipmate. He is doing well and I get to talk to him alot which helps. He should be back the end of June if everything goes well. I'm used to the Navy life since my husband was in for 15 years but it never gets easier, you always worry. It was nice to see someone close to home on N4M's.

sure, let us know what time, date and of course place :-) Thank God everything is fine!! our Daniel is loving the Navy he will be in Virgina on the 5 of Nov. where he will be for a year then off to sea for seven months. How is everything with you ?? :-)
