I'm 50 years young.My husband & I have 3 children . 1 son 27, 1 daughter 25 who is in the navy, & last but not least 1 Daughter 15.We live in Dade City, FL.

My son/daughter is:
Enlisted
I was the proudest of my child when:
She got in the van to go to the airport destination Great Lakes,IL
When my son/daughter first spoke about joining the service I:
Encouraged him/her
As a new Navy mom, the most important thing I learned was:
To accept the fact that I could not talk to her every day
My son/daughter is currently in the service or retired, and now I believe:
This was the best decision he/she could have made

My guess, Linda, is that she is there, real close........and not far off, and on Friday ~~ they will all be in the same place, graduating!! Hang in there.... you will hear soon.... let me know when you hear!! I am flying in on Thurs. AM. See you there!

Linda-No, I havent. He just said it would be this week. First I heard Monday nite, now I see it could be Tues. nite. Wish I knew too. I have gotten 1 phone call, that is it..about 3 weeks ago It is so hard not knowing.
