FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My Son went n corpsman he too graduates may 6 n is n ur husbands ship/div. 
yeah I'm from HOLLYWOOD CALIFORNIA ....
My son is also here... ship 12 div 158, PIR 5/6/2011. We're from PA. Has anyone gotten a real letter yet? We've only gotten the 'box' and form letter.
Robin i have not yet received anything other than the form letter. My son was ill when he got to boot camp and i worried however the small pc he wrote on the form letter told me he is feeling better. My name is Stephanie my mom has family in PA. We are staying at the Courtyard Marriott in Waukegan have you made arrangements anywhere
Hi stingyb21 (a.k.a. Stephanie), we are staying at the Ramada Waukegan/Gurnee. My son's note on the form letter said not to worry, they're taking good care of him. That's encouraging, but May 6th can't come soon enough!  Glad your son was feeling better he should be all better by now :)
yeah i just received his form letter last week  and the boxs the first week we was gone like in 2 days i received it. .....so yeah on the short letter my husband said first two weeks people yelling and he wishes it goes by soon and it nothing like what i seen on youtube.. i hope i get a phone call today.. its only rewarded...

I just received another form letter today, regarding military id and DEER (health insurance) and still waiting for the reall letter... too..

You'll meet lots of people there with SR's PIRing 5/6 along with your husband. They're from all different divisions (there's a few of us from 12/158), but lots of great information and support there, it's a really great group of women to network with.
