Praying for Donna and sailor son. Lord may a special angel comfort her/son and family.   Psalm 91 of protection to all in need.   Thank you all for prayers my daughter in law is well. And sailor son busy, Don't get to hear from him as often as I like. yet I thank the Lord he is safe and all sailors. Have a blessed day to all.

Please pray for Donna. Her husband has passed away. Her sailor made it but I don't know how much time he was able to spend with him. She had to have knee surgery several months ago and has had complications so she's not doing well physically anyway. It just breaks my heart for her!

The tornadoes were all an hour east of me. We didn't get any bad weather yesterday but storms the night before. More in the forecast toda but its normal this time of year. Thanks for thinking of me!

Yvonne, he is now back in the states and I have much more contact with him which is wonderful.  Just this morning in received a long series of texts from him that express deep disappointment with God and cynicism (reading between the lines).

Please pray with me that I will be able to sense Gods leading as I respond . in don't want to give pat answers as I have recently been through a dark spiritual night myself and pat answers were painful and frustrating to me.

Sorry ladies that I am always here petioning for my boy these days.

Hello Mombyheart. Is David no longer in Italy?  We will continue to pray for him..we see happening in the sailors, marines and soldiers we come into contact with the same thing at times. But even though the Devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour, Jesus is greater than him and the Holy Spirit is able to 'convict of sin and righteousness and things to come'. Don't forget, Jesus loves him more than you do. :)

Prayers also for the opportunity for the sailor to be with his father at this critical time.  May God grant the wishes and desires of this family and hear our prayers.

Well, my sailor did not make it to church.  His roommate would not let him borrow his car.  He said, "Oh well."    I had high hopes for a couple of days, but it seems he is not yet at the turning point.  We have had some rather blunt discussions over phone and IM this weekend, and I sense he is still far from being truly interested in changing his life.  He is being very successful in his job and in his weakest personal area, the devil continues to create new opportunities for him to be drawn astray.  Out of the frying pan, into the fire in a manner of speaking. 

Thank you for your prayers this weekend as things were looking hopeful.  Catmom....I did send him the link to the Calvary Chapel in Yucca Valley.  Thank you for that.

It shall be well.
