My son is at Corry since 1-6 anyone know when Graduation is Time wise n 6-6?  I can not come but I have a friend who can take pics for me.  He is an IT.

Hey Stephanie Ship02 Div 917. My son is there now and I can share with you what he has told me. Because of OPSEC, not sure how much should be said in open forum. I sent you a friend request and will gladly answer your question in a PM! Just know he will be in Pensacola a long time.

Goodmorning everyone! My fiance is in his 4th week of bootcamp right now and then will be off to Pensacola. He asked me to do a little research and find out what it's like there, the rooms specifically. I don't exactly know what he wants me to find out... but hopefully someone gave give me an all around 411 of living at A school? Thanks everyone and have a Happy Monday :)

 Not that I know of. This site is not very active at all. There is another one for It's you should join on here so you can get more information.  Have your tried texting him?  They are kept pretty busy adjusting the first few weeks and only have time off on the weekends, but if he is waiting for his class to start, how they did it when my sone was waiting( that was in June so things may have changed) they had to do cleaning, PT, inspections and duty so they were kept busy enough while waiting and they could volunteer for things as well. Does he have FB try that too. Hopefully by now you have heard from him. I didn't hear from mine very often but once they get into school they are in class for 6 hours a day and still have everything else they have to do including doing their laundry, shining boots etc. so I tended to hear from mine on the weekends. I always texted him good night most nights and I usually got a response back. Just my way to keep in touch.

Hello! My son just arrived at Corry Station and is waiting for his class to start. I talked to him a couple of days ago and now he is not answering his phone. Is he restricted when he first gets there?

Hello - I am looking at the post and it doesn't look too busy. My son leaves Aug. 15th for Basic, and then to Correy Station, for IT. Just looking if someone has a son/daughter leaving about then. I'm starting to feel a little emotional, but so happy for him.

You don't sound silly at all:-) All the rates w/ different acronyms and such can be confusing to anyone.

If your son chose IT, that would Information Systems Technician. If you have a copy of his contract, his rate should be on there. Sounds like he picked Intelligence Specialist (IS), but there A school is in Dam Neck, VA. Intelligence Specialist

Hi Blanesmom, I have never heard of the Classified Communications Technology rate. The only rates taught at Corry Station are IT & most of the CT (crypto) rates which are CTM, CTT, CTR and CTN. There is another base in Pensacola, Pensacola Naval Air Station, however that is for the aviation rates.

well finally asked my son.  He said he was gonna sign a 6 year contract but only did 4.  so he said no C school right now.
