justmeSam-Tommysmom- Chris went to MEPS yesterday for his pst. His eye waiver has been approved and was told he is leaving right after the holidays. I am a emotional mess!!!

Brandy, My sons recruiter said everything is shut down for 4 months. My son is Dep. Who knows though! It is hard playing the waiting game. Took my son 4 times before something came up, and he had a 73 on his asvap.

Many of you may remember from last year - Go to the link below and you can send a card too. Xerox is mailing them. You pick the card you want to send and they mail them! It doesn't get any better than that!!

Thanks Ruth, Chris' recruiter called yesterday and said he is going to MEPS on Friday for more testing for EOD. But then was told everyone is on hold now? Has anyone else heard of this?

Kathy B, oh how you wish you were there!!! Hang in there Brandy... Christopher is in the desert for 5 days of "camping out". He couldn't wait to get started Sunday night. I hope he doesn't get into as much trouble this time! He and his "brat pack" are "fun" trouble when they get together out there.

Ruth, he is doingokay. We are still waiting for the waiver that MEPS said they would not send off to TN. I just spoke with the Recruiter and he was informed that it would take 2 weeks to a month for an anwser so it is pretty close to being a month so hopefully we will hear something this week? Keeping my fingers crossed because he truly is driving me crazy!!! I will keep youposted. Thanks for the info. and caring.
