Welcome Jess. Hope everyone stays safe. Wow Tina that's really too bad I hope this next storm doesn't knock out power. It's weird cause we only got 14 " of snow, hopefully this will be the last of it.

HI everyone! Im new to this grp. My bf just got his orders to Norfolk he will be moving there shortly and i will be joining him by next year sometime. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone...hope all is well with you. I just got dug out from 28" of snow yesterday. Our power went off Saturday afternoon at 3pm and just came on yesterday afternoon. We have no backup heat and house was COLD...it was 43 degrees inside when we woke up. Don't think I've ever seen so much snow in one winter and I've lived in VA all my life. Now looks like we have another 4 to 8 inches due Tuesday night into Wednesday....

Go to militaryonesource.com to get to the H & R Block service to get your taxes done for free. You have to complete the login info and pw info then complete the info again for tax prep. This is a service for the military only. First time my son used it and went through without any problems.

Im from st.louis where snows not uncommon so this is really nothing new to me. Its not even the cold that Im ready to see go out the door! Its the crazyness that comes from storms like this here! Im so glad the hubby and I have no where to go today its not worth risking it!

Who would have though! Virgina is getting more snow than Connecticut. I to am ready for spring,we might not have alot of snow but is really cold.
