I sent Thanksgiving cards, but it took me forever to find a white envelope to fit the card! I didn't want to take any chances sending an orange or red envelope.

Hey everyone. A good friend of mine is married into a navy family. Her stepson went thru bc about 2 yrs ago. She said that it takes about 3 weeks to get their mail. That he'd written wondering why they weren't writing. She said the next letter he said he was inundated with it. He's in Hawaii now. I started writing the day my son left and write everyday. In his letters although he didnt mention it. I got the impression that he hadn't received mail. His letters were dated the 11th and 15th.

I GOT MY CALL!!! Turns out my daughter was on watch yesterday so that is why she did not call!! So AWESOME to hear her voice. She sounded so upbeat and had been assinged as RPOC, so recruits were interupting our call like she was the President or something. She loves being in charge so it was good to hear her in her element. Ashley is an only child, so this is not a typical thing for them. We talked for a little over a half hour. So HAPPY!!!!!!!!!

hey all how is it going ? Christie i am so happy to hear this news. Geoff wrote and he said they really miss todd and wish he was there. The way Geoff sounded they thought Todd was gone already so i am letting him know there is a chance that he will be back soon but it may not be with them. I am prayning for our 9th inning home run.

C.Navy.Wife. I have been wondering the same thing. My son is in division 906. I haven't heard from him since he got there. I also just heard from his gf that he hasn't gotten any of our letters and we've sent one every day and so has she.
