Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 057 and 058.

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important Every single concern is genuine Every single member is important to us We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hi Kyles Mom,

My son is in Ship 11, Div 58. He left November 14th. I haven't received any letters or phone calls yet either. I'm hoping maybe he will get to write home tomorrow. The waiting to hear anything is so hard. I'm sure you feel the same way. I'm only going by the motto No News is Good News. I pray all our boys are doing ok. Hang in there :-)

My son is also in Ship 11 Div 58 and I haven't heard from him either. From what I've been reading I think they just started their training this week. Maybe they can't write letters until tomorrow.

Hi Kyles Mom my son is also ship11 div 057 and I have already recieved his box and the letter. I recieved the letter Nov. 24th. Hope you have recieved yours by now. If you haven't recieved it yet maybe you should contact his recruiting officer.

Hi Kyles Mom, our sons are on the same ship same divison. Have youreceived a letter or a call yet?

I have not received a letter as of yet. Another Mom with the same division received her letter yesterday. She lives in Michigan, I am in Washington so I'm hoping today. Not sure what state you are in. Praying you receive it today. Praying for all our brave hereos, that they continue to be strong until we see them agian and praying that they are all begining to make new friendships with each other. They are each others support now.

My son is ths same division and ship as yours. I have not heard anything yet, but I see others recieving letters today, so maybe the next day or two. Praying

I see where some recruits were calling home today. Not from Ship 11, but from the main PIR page 1/11/13. Having said that, stay close to your phones everyone, your call could be next.

Yes, hip 14/div 055 &56 were able to call home today. Ladies your calls are coming soon...hang in there. I know it's tough but when you get that call, you're gonna be so excited! Beyond belief!!
I have not received a letter or call. Tears. And more tears. Not knowing how my son is doing is just awful. what is going on w ship 11?
My son is ship 11 div 57. Can they only call on Sundays?
My son left Nov. 15th he is also ship 11 div 057 and I have not received a call other than the "I'm here call " I have received the "box" and the PIR letter but no personal letter. I have my phone on me at all times and also stalk the mailbox. This holiday season has been pretty tough.

I am with you ladies.  I haven't heard anything other than the I'm here call, the box and the forum letter.  It is driving me CRAZY....  I am writing to him ofen but it is hard when I cant hear back.  My phone is on me constantly.  I check the mailbox first thing.  I just wish we would hear something.    I am glad that I am not alone on this trip in life.
