ntz4laa........I appreciate that information...........I, too, was curious about the names of ships.........:)))
HooYah!  Just now received a phone call from our son!  He needed to get his routing number for his checking account. Somehow, it did not get written down correctly when he called upon arrival. He sounded wonderful! He sounded tired! He said he has been sleeping really great. The flu shot really hurt and hyped him up!  Oh Thank You JESUS! He is doing Great!
YIPPEE! I'm happy for you that's awesome :)
Does anyone know how I would know for sure where my son will be going to "A" school if he is going to be a corpman?
texasmom, it's probably still too early to know which A school he will be at, unless he qualified for a special group during his pretest ASVAB... My son got a 98 on his test so he got to pick what he wanted to do. He chose Nukes. Because of that, we know he will be going to Charleston, SC.
Oh, ok that makes sense. Thank you.

Texasmom,

Corpsman school is in the process of moving from Great Lakes to Fort Sam Houston in San Antonio.  So it will either be GL or SA.  My daughter is also going to be an HM.
