Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

My son is Ship 09 Div 136, but he also will graduate on the 15th of April so you are not alone....We are all missing our loved ones and have cried the missing them tears....you will get a lot of support from this site....as a mother of three and this being my only son and youngest to boot...I have cried so much and miss him more then I thought I would and pray daily that he stays strong, emotionally, physically, mentally and spiritually and know that he is loved and missed....that's all we can do at this time....support them with letter and cards...even if they can't write back right now and stay strong and be confident in the knowledge that we raised them with love and know they are doing their best to get through this phase in their lives in order to move with their goals in life....

My son is the same. I received a letter yesterday. He said everything was going fine,the food is good.

We got our letter yesterday also and our son said its not so bad if you just follow instructions and he also said the food is good....I was expecting this letter about how hard it was or how he wished he didn't do it but actually he said its not what he expected...I think he had himself a lot more worried about it and now he sees that its do able actually I got worse letter from summer camp.....very encouraging..

I received a letter from my daughter yesterday. Thank God she is doing well, I was so worried. She says its been a tough transition but she's staying focused. Says she's found the secret to surviving bootcamp:
1. Keep silent.
2. Do as your told
3. Don't draw attention to yourself.
I found that very amusing...

I have received several emails from my daughter over the past 2 days. She seems to be doing well. She is of the same motto: Do as you are told, don't draw attention to yourself, keep quiet. Hopefully everyone in her division does the same.
