Jim

Hi Jim,

Glad you found me. You should join the division group too. My son is a nuke. How about yours? Karleen

He is an OS we cant find much about that job. we got a letter from him today he seems low I guess that is normal. I am dreading when his mom reads the letter she will likely melt. I will join the div group as well thanks for setting this up!

Jim

I'm not sure what that is either. I got a letter from my son also today. He said it's nothing like he thought it would be, but is hanging in there. Karleen
Got a letter from our son today also he is pretty homesick he will be fine they had 17 shots this week that would make me feel under the weather to
my son is having a rough time.... he said he has been sick the whole time he has been there...feels like he is coughing up a lung..... before he left he had been helping fight the woodland fires in Ga.  I guess that was a bad idea..... praying he finally gets better soon

OK - I'm just creeping your site (mine is ship 12 div 225), but you guys sound like you've received real letters, not just the form letters.  When did your SR's leave?  Mine left the 17th so we were shocked when his PIR was 7/8.  We've only received the form letter.  Thanks for any info you can give!

Hi MidwestMom,

My son left May 10. They can write on Sundays so I expect a letter on Thurs. each week. So the following week you should get a real letter. That is interesting that your son left the 17th and is still graduating 7/8.

I have also seen SR's that shiped on 5/10 pith a PIR date of 7/1 not sure how this works out, it may have something to do with the "A" school class start dates?

Our son left on the 10th we got the form letter on the 17th. We got the first real letter yesterday the 26th. He needed more stamps and a calling card.

Maybe it does have to do with the A school or what their job is.
My son left the 17th as well and will be graduating 07/08. (Div 225 Ship12)
